Zondag 19 september 2004 om 15.00 uur was het dan zover in het Bijlmersportcentrum in Amsterdam-ZO. Vanaf dat moment vond de hereniging plaats van vele honderden Surinaamse politiemensen, tijdens een informele en gezellige bijeenkomst.
